Jamye Lyn Tyndall of Pikeville and Thomas Colin Murphrey of Farmville exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Oct. 20, 2012, at 3 p.m. at Victory Free Will Baptist, with the Rev. Fred Crank officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Dwight and Kathy Tyndall of Pikeville and Myra and Jimmy Pilkington of Newton Grove and the granddaughter of Lloyd Tyndall of Dudley, Margaret Stanley of Goldsboro, Milner Gurley of Goldsboro and the late Roland “R.B” Gurley of Goldsboro.

She is employed as a registered nurse at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

The groom is the son of Colin and Joanna Murphrey of Farmville and the grandson of Cornelia Murphrey and the late Durward Murphrey of Farmville, the late Wiley Keith Carraway of Snow Hill and Geraldine Carraway McCoy of Snow Hill.

He is employed by Crop Production Services of Snow Hill.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her family.

Jessica Tyndall, sister of the bride, was maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Heather Edwards and Kimberly Kidd, best friends of the bride

Colin Murphrey, father of the groom, served as best man.

Groomsmen were Kevin Murphrey, brother of the groom, and Bryan Murphrey, cousin of the groom.

Kayleigh Tyndall, niece of the bride, was flower girl.

LaRue Sutton directed the wedding.

A program of wedding music was provided by Lawanda Maddox, pianist.

After a wedding trip to the Bahamas, the couple resides in Pikeville.

A rehearsal dinner was held by the groom’s parents at Mount Herman United Methodist Church.
