Stackhouse-Lutcavage
Susan Dunlap Stackhouse of Raleigh and Marc Brendan Lutcavage of Raleigh exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Oct. 20, 2012, at 5 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Andrew Ross Clark officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Bryant Stackhouse of Goldsboro and the granddaughter of Mrs.William Jay Derby of Goldsboro and the late Mr. Derby, Mr. and Mrs. John Woods Stackhouse of Morehead City and the late Katherine Dunlap Stackhouse.
She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and a master’s of accounting degree. She is employed by Towerco LLC.
The groom is the son of Mary Ellen Lutcavage of Goldsboro and Dr. and Mrs. Gregory Joseph Lutcavage of Goldsboro and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Thomas Duttweiler of Sanford and the late Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Chester Lutcavage.
He is a graduate of North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in business management. He is employed at Jordan Price Wall Gray Jones and Carlton PLLC.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Elizabeth Stackhouse Saunders of Richmond, Va., and Katherine Stackhouse Parker of Goldsboro were their sister’s matrons of honor.
Bridesmaids were Kristin Noel Minotti of Minneapolis, Minn., sister of the groom, and Eleanor Scott Best Davis of Winston-Salem and Heather Sauls Honneycutt of Dunn, cousins of the bride.
Groomsmen were Brandon Christopher Comeaux of Raleigh, Alfred Benjamin Goodrich II of Raleigh, Daniel Ray Holmes of Greenville, Emery Donald Ivey of Goldsboro and John Magette Seegars of Greenville.
Ushers were Brett Wilson Comeaux of New York, N.Y., Eric Charles Lutcavage of Durham, James Edward Lutcavage of Greenville and Gregory Joseph Lutcavage of Austin, Texas, brothers of the groom.
Elizabeth Grace Saunders, niece of the bride, was flower girl.
Patrick Anthony Minotti, nephew of the groom, was ringbearer.
Isabelle Williams Doss directed the ceremony. Jennifer Lewis Brown, Laura Gable Capps and Mildred Pellitier Warren were greeters.
A program of wedding music was provided by Dr. Jeremy Thompson, organist; Sherry Lattin, violinist; and Alex Fioto, trumpeter.
Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents held a reception at the Goldsboro Country Club.
After their wedding trip, the couple will reside in Raleigh.
Events held before the wedding included a bridesmaids’ luncheon hosted by friends at the home of Mrs. Kitty Sauls; an engagement party in Morehead City at the home of Mr. and Mrs Jack Best hosted by family and friends; and an engagement party in Raleigh at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Randy Carmichael hosted by the Carmichaels and Mr. Jay Derby.
The groom’s parents held a rehearsal dinner at the Goldsboro Country Club.
