Schultze-Gardner
Brittani Nicole Schultze and Kevin Dale Gardner exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Friday, Sept. 21, at 6:30 in the evening at The Paramount Theater, with the Rev. R. Wes Boyd officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Ronald and Paula Schultze of Pikeville and the granddaughter of the late Ronald Henry and Wilma Sue Schultze of Dudley, Mildred Faye Blizzard of Pikeville and the late Franklin D. Tilghman of Goldsboro.
She is a 2007 graduate of Charles B. Aycock High School and a 2012 graduate of Mount Olive College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in visual communication. She is employed at Screen It as a graphic designer, and runs her own business as a photographer and freelance graphic artist.
The groom is the son of Bruce Kevin and Wanda Weaver Gardner of Goldsboro and the grandson of the late Augusta Wayne of Raeford, Geraldine Burns Gardner of Goldsboro and the Rev. Samuel L. and Joyce Ann Weaver of Princeton.
He is a 2008 graduate of Rosewood High School, and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in worship studies from West Coast Bible College. He is employed as the creative director and worship leader at Gateway Community Church in Pikeville.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents and younger brother.
She wore a classic strapless gown featuring an Alencon lace bodice that was accented with a petite bow at the empire waistline. The silk taffeta gown with hidden pockets flowed into a semi-cathedral-length train, and was complete with silk taffeta buttons down the back of the gown.
Kelley Gardner was maid of honor while Courtney Lake served as matron of honor.
Cassie Erdmann was a bridesmaid, while Kayla Gardner was the junior bridesmaid.
Rick Elmore served as best man.
Groomsmen were Patrick Schultze, Jonathan Weaver, Daniel Gurley and Scott DeCarlo.
Ashlee Boyd, Charlotte Boyd, Addie Boyd and Chloe Boyd were the adorable flower girls, and their smallest sister, Anna-Claire Boyd, was the miniature bride.
Tami and Brandon Grady greeted guests upon arrival at the theater, while guests were ushered by Nick Ham and Brandon Blackmon.
Lindley Pierce and Natalie Isrel presided at the register, and Lauren Blackmon distributed the programs.
The wedding was directed by Joan Stafford, and a program of wedding music was provided by Rick Elmore, Scott DeCarlo, Trentt Toms, Matt Sharp, Ashley Erdmann, Rachel Ashley and Richard Clough.
After spending five days aboard the Carnival Fantasy and three days in Charleston, S.C., the couple returned to their home in Goldsboro.
