Anna Elise Davis and Andrew Emerson Bass exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony June 30, 2012, at 4:30 p.m. at Stoney Creek Free Will Baptist Church, with pastors Gary Bailey and Ferrell Hardison officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Mark Davis of Fremont and Tammy Waters Syverson of Goldsboro, the stepdaughter of Ronnie Syverson and the granddaughter of Virgie Gay Davis and the late Harold Gene Davis of Fremont and Franklin Dwight Waters and Rose Lee Waters of Princeton.

She is a graduate of Rosewood High School and currently enrolled at East Carolina University pursuing a degree in elementary education.

The groom is the son of Ricky Gerald Bass of Wilson and Kitzi Lancaster Bass of Goldsboro and the grandson of Emerson Bass Sr. and the late Carol Edmundson Bass of Eureka and Lynn Lancaster and Shelba Combs Lancaster of Kenly.

He is a graduate of Wayne Christian School and the University of North Carolina Wilmington. He is currently employed with Wayne County Public Schools.

Mary-Catherine Talton, sister of the bride, was matron of honor and Ashley Syverson, sister of the bride, was maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Kelly Head, Monica Beushausen, Emilee Geer and Kelsey Wolfe, friends of the bride.

Chris Buckner, friend of the groom, served as best man.

Groomsmen were Justin Lancaster and Alan-Michael Southerland, cousins of the groom; Matt Davis and Zach Syverson, brothers of the bride; and Bryan Talton, brother-n-law of the bride.

Ella-Rose Talton was the flower girl. Evan Cummings and Landon Bartlett were ringbearers.

Kirsten Stovall and Emmy Haveri directed the wedding. Marian Everheart was the register attendant. Jeff and Shawn Parks distributed programs and welcomed guests.

After a wedding trip to Florida, the couple resides in Goldsboro.
