Leah Marie Smith and Johnathan Gordon Sutton exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony June 16, 2012, at 4 p.m. at Falling Creek Baptist Church, with the Rev. Bill Sutton officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Joal Smith of Warsaw and Lori Grady of Grantham and the granddaughter of Al Smith and the late Jean Smith of Warsaw and the late Granger and Mildred Grady of Grantham.

She is a graduate of Rosewood High School and a graduate of North Carolina State University with a degree in history. She is employed as a teacher with Wake County public schools.

The groom is the son of Bill and Ruby Sutton of Seven Springs and the grandson of the late Leland and Margaret Sutton of Goldsboro and Irene Parks and the late Wesley Parks of Seven Springs.

He is a graduate of Spring Creek High School and a graduate of North Carolina State University with a degree in natural resources. He is employed as a systems technician with Johnson Controls.

Taylor Smith, sister of the bride, was maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Erin Gamble, Amanda Boykin Batts, Stephanie Joyner and Krystina Adams Walsh, friends of the bride, and Meredith Adams, sister of the groom.

Phil Sutton, brother of the groom, served as best man.

Groomsmen were Phat Tran, Bryce Holmes and Danny Adams, friends of the groom; Ryan Parks, cousin of the groom; and Nathan Kornegay, brother of the bride.

Avery Ryan and Maddy Sutton were flower girls.

Eva Rouse directed the wedding. Ciera Satterfield and Lindsey Justice distributed programs.

After a wedding trip to Jamaica, the couple resides in Raleigh.
