Anna Lynn Weeks of Greenville and Julio Cesar Soto of Greenville exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Nov. 18 at 3:30 p.m. at Yankee Hall Plantation in Greenville, with Ira Williford officiating.

The bride is the daughter of David Earl and Debbie Sauls Weeks of Goldsboro and the granddaughter of Zelda Rae Weeks and the late Martin Luther Weeks of Wilson and the late Wayne and Hilda Sauls of Goldsboro.

She graduated from Eastern Wayne High School in 2005 and East Carolina University in 2009 with a degree in marketing and business administration. She is employed as the assistant general manager at an American Campus Community.

The groom is the son of Juan and Josafath Soto of Faison and the grandson of Eucebio Soto, the late Maria Cruz Soto, Cornelio Saucedo and the late Maria Luisa Saucedo of Faison.

He graduated from North Duplin High School in 2004 and East Carolina University in 2009 with a degree in nutrition and health management. He is employed as the maintenance supervisor at an American Campus Community.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.

She wore a champagne-colored strapless satin ballgown with a sweetheart neckline with beaded lace appliqués.

Her headpiece was an ivory veil that fell to finger-tip-length.

The bride carried a bouquet of white roses adorned with her late granny’s pearl necklace.

Tessa Weeks was her sister’s maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Brandi Butts, Sadie Poole and Amanda Morton, friends of the bride.

Juan Soto was his son’s best man.

Groomsmen were Miguel Soto, brother of the groom, and Nathaniel Steward and Justin Bohannon, friends of the groom.

Barbara Ward directed the wedding.

A program of wedding music was provided by Tomoko Kato, pianist, and Christina Wohlford, violinist.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the ballroom of Yankee Hall Plantation.

After their wedding trip to Cancun, Mexico, the couple will reside in Greenville.

Events held before the wedding included a shower Oct. 23 at United in Christ Pentecostal Church in Goldsboro; a bachelorette party Oct. 28 in Raleigh; a bridal party luncheon Nov. 6 at Tokyo Japanese Restaurant in Greenville; and a bachelor party Nov. 11 in Myrtle Beach, S.C.

The bride’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at Rep Express Catering in Greenville.
