Kimberly Dawn Fulghum of Kenly and Aaron Allen Underwood exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Sept. 10t at 4 p.m. at New Life Church, with Tony Wyatt officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Kathy Renfrow Hall of Kenly and the late George Randall “Randy” Fulghum of Sims and the granddaughter of George and Peggy Fulghum of Sims and Shirley Davis and the late J.R. Renfrow of Kenly.

She is a 2004 graduate of North Johnston High School and a 2011 graduate of Johnston Community College with associate degrees in accounting and business administration. She is employed at Wal-Mart in Smithfield.

The groom is the son of Daniel F. and Barbara J. Underwood of Pikeville and the grandson of Junior and Louise Underwood and the late Ralph and Bonnie Anderson of East Liverpool, Ohio.

He is a 1998 graduate of Charles B. Aycock. He is employed at Structural Steel Products of Clayton.

The bride was escorted by her grandfather, George S. Fulghum, and given in marriage by her grandfather and her mother.

She wore a white V-neck short-sleeved dress with sequins around the neck and bustline with a long train. She also wore her grandmother’s pearl necklace, bracelet and earring set.

She wore a white veil with pearl accents and a silver headpiece with clear rhinestones

The bride carried a bouquet of white daisies with pearl accents, ivy, butterflies, yellow and blue flowers and white ribbon.

Christy Murphy of Kenly was her friend’s matron of honor.

Bridesmaids were Dara Gibson of Princeton, sister-in-law of the bride, and Danielle Loxton of Four Oaks and Amanda Adams of Hope Mills, friends of the bride.

Curtis Murphy of Kenly was best man.

Groomsmen and ushers were Jason Ramirez of Princeton and Randall Fulghum of Fremont, brothers of the bride, and Matthew Underwood of Pikeville, brother of the groom.

Robert Parmer of Pikeville, friend of the groom, was an usher.

Chasity Murphy of Kenly, friend of the couple, was flower girl. Morgan Underwood of Pikeville, daughter of the groom, was ringbearer.

Renee Wyatt directed the wedding. Presiding at the register and distributing programs were Patsy and Wayne Thompson of Wilson.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Kenly American Legion building.

After their wedding trip to Emerald Isle, the couple will reside in Kenly .

Events held before the wedding included a wedding shower July 17 hosted by friends and family.

Michael and Tonia Reid of Goldsboro, friends of the couple, hosted a rehearsal dinner at the church in family life center.
