Frowein - Frye
Amanda Michelle Frye and James Brandon Frowein of Charlotte exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Oct. 1 at 5 p.m. at Dennis Vineyards in Albemarle, with the Rev. Patricia Humphries-Bivens officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Steven Glenn and Linda Prestwood Frye of Monroe and the granddaughter of Myrtle Frye, the late Glenn Frye of Lenoir, Ava Cline and the late George Prestwood of Lenoir.
She is a 1999 graduate of Monroe High School and a 2003 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She is employed as a patient coordinator at Mashburn, Zsambeky and Associates.
The groom is the son of Michael Robert and Jamie Dunlevy Frowein of Goldsboro and the grandson of the late Robert and Margaret Frowein of Washington, the late James of Miami Lakes, Fla., and Shirley Dunlevy of Los Angeles, Calif.
He is a 2003 graduate of Southern Wayne High School and a 2005 graduate of Wilson Tech Community College with an associate degree in fire protection technology. He attends Fayetteville State University for a bachelor’s degree in fire science management. He is employed as a firefighter with the city of Kannapolis.
The bride was escorted by her father, and given in marriage by her parents.
She wore a strapless A-line gown with a lace over-lay and a chapel train.
Jamie Parker was matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Katie Hall, Ashley Kuly, Tiffany Moore, Crystal Jones, Molly Moore and Paige Frye.
Sean Frowein was the best man.
Groomsmen were Jonathan Womble, Aaron Bostic, Wes Barwick, Chris Barbee, Cody McSwain and Justin Frye.
Kim McIlwaine directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Christy Flake.
A program of wedding music was provided by Jennie Eggleston, harpist.
Following the ceremony, a dinner and dance reception was held at Dennis Vineyards.
After their wedding trip to Cancun, Mexico, the couple will reside in Indian Trail.
The groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at the Lodge at Hatley Farm in Albemarle.
