Tracy Jane Andrews and Jeremy Ward exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Nov. 6 at 5 p.m. at Lane Tree Golf Club, with Dexter Johnson officiating.

The bride is the daughter of William and Carole Andrews of Goldsboro and the granddaughter of Ed Shoemaker and the late Helen Shoemaker of Sun City, Ariz., and Joyce Bird, the late Reginald “Dick” Byrd and the late Alec Baggott of Leiston, England.

She graduated from Rosewood High school in 2003 and Wesleyan College with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and psychology. She is employed as a child support agent with Greene County Social Services.

The groom is the son of Chris and Carolsue Ward of Goldsboro and the grandson of Althea Ward, the late William J. Ward and Robert and Carol Coffman of Goldsboro.

He graduated from Rosewood High School in 2004. He is employed as a correctional officer with the Johnston County prison system.

The bride was escorted and given in marriage by her father.

She wore an ivory gown with claret trim and pearls.

Her headpiece was a crystal tiara.

The bride carried a red rose bouquet.

Anneka Watson was maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Kellie Hess and Jamie Andrews, sisters of the bride.

Terrance Slaughter was best man.

Groomsmen were Ian Williamson and Kyle Alexander.

Ushers were Mark Hess and Matthew Ward.

Theresa Elliott and Amy Kathryn Ward were flower girls. Gavin Slaughter was ringbearer.

Jamie Andrews directed the wedding. Presiding at the guest book were Kezia Ngo and Carolsue Ngo.

Following the ceremony, a dinner and dance reception was held at Lane Tree Golf Club.

After their wedding trip to Disney World, Orlando, Fla., the couple will reside in Kenly.

Events held before the wedding included a bridal shower hosted by Greene County Social Services; a bridal shower hosted by United Methodist Women’s Club; and a lingerie/bachelorette party hosted by Jamie Andrews and Kellie Hess.

The groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at La Paz.
