Mrs. McCollim

Marcie Rebecca Kingsley and Timothy Michael McCollim exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Dec. 21 at 7 p.m. at Freedom Baptist Church in Goldsboro, with pastor David Jackson officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Reginald Kingsley of Pikeville and the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Kingsley of Gilboa, N.Y., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Carl Butler of Richmondville, N.Y.

She is a 2003 graduate of Wayne Christian School and a 2008 and 2010 graduate of Pensacola Christian College with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and a master’s degree in educational administration.

The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Charles McCollim of Pensacola and the grandson of Barbara McCollim and the late Frank McCollim of Leesburg, Ohio, and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Ross.

He is a 2004 graduate of Pensacola Christian Academy, a 2008 graduate of Pensacola Christina College with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and a 2010 graduate of Pensacola Theological Seminary with a master’s degree in bible exposition.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.

She wore a white bridal satin lace-top dress with a side sweep featuring re-embroidered and beaded lace appliqués. The neckline was square with cap sleeves. The back was laced with miniature buttons.

Her headpiece was a pearl tiara with an elbow-length double-tiered veil.

The bride carried a bouquet of silk red roses with diamond accents.

Jessica Beverly, friend of the bride, and Machelle Kingsley, sister of the bride, were maids of honor.

Bridesmaids were Sarah McCollim, sister of the groom, and Rebecca Sheldon, friend of the bride.

Matthew McCollim and Nathan McCollim were their brother’s best men.

Groomsmen were David Walker and Ben Holler, friends of the groom.

Daisy Walker was the flower girl.

Barbara Sheldon directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Melissa Sheldon. Alisha Ross and Brianna Ross distributed the programs.

A program of wedding music was provided by Curtis Piner and Jonathan McLean.

Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents hosted a reception in the church fellowship hall.

After their wedding trip to Gatlinburg, Tenn., the couple will reside in Pensacola.

Events held before the wedding included a bridal shower Oct. 15 hosted by the groom’s parents and a bridal shower Oct. 30 hosted by Freedom Baptist church.

The groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at Freedom Baptist Church.
