Katherine Clarkson of Goldsboro and Adam Bridgers of Kenly exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Oct. 23 at 6:30 p.m. at Lane Tree Country Club, with Larry Turlington officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Eddie and Marilyn Lutz of Goldsboro and the granddaughter of Jean Lutz, the late Thomas Lutz and Kenneth and Nada Clarkson of Goldsboro.

She graduated from Wayne Community College with a degree in medical office administration. She is employed as manager at McCall’s BBQ and Seafood.

The groom is the son of Freddie and Janet Bridgers of Kenly and the grandson of the late Henry and Avis Bridgers of Wilson and Ruby Collier-Waddell, the late Ralph Collier and the late Lester Waddell of Kenly.

He graduated from Charles B. Aycock High School. He is employed as a welder at Edwards Inc.

The bride was escorted and given in marriage by her father.

She wore a white chiffon gown that featured a side-draped bodice and beaded lace with a sweep train.

The bride carried a handtied bouquet of red roses.

Kelly Townsend was maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Marianne Wilkinson, Heather Raczkowsi and Coutney Herring.

Jason Bridgers was the best man.

Groomsmen were Freddie Bridgers, Dennis Collier and Jimmy Wilkinson.

Lilah Dailey and Sara Lutz were flower girls. Carson Waddell was the ringbearer.

Wendy Pittman directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was April Collier. Gretchen Clairmont distributed the programs.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Lane Tree Country Club. Charlene Clarkson cut the wedding cake. Debbie Edgerton poured the punch.

After their wedding trip to Wilmington, the couple will reside in Kenly.

A rehearsal dinner was held at Pinkney Baptist Church.
