Grant - Hinson
NEWPORT — Pandy Gray Hinson and Kenneth Charles Grant exchanged vows in a single-ring ceremony Sept. 25 at 7 p.m. at Cannons Gate, with James Harry officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Garry and Pamela Bunn and the late Randy Hinson of Goldsboro, the stepdaughter of Garry Bunn and the granddaughter of Marian Hinson, the late Harold Hinson, Shirley Wilson and the late Yates Wilson of Goldsboro.
She graduated from Rosewood High School and Mount Olive College with a bachelor’s degree.
The groom is the son of Clifton and Carolyn Grant of Goldsboro and the grandson of Elizabeth Grant and the late Earl Grant of Goldsboro and the late Walter J. and Ina Mercer of Bladen County.
He graduated from Charles B. Aycock High School and Johnston Community College with a degree in radiology technology. He is employed as a senior radiology technician at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The bride was escorted by her mother and given in marriage by her mother and family.
Robbyn Linville, LeAnne Howell, Susan Page and Jenny McAdams were the honorary junior bridesmaids.
Ushers were Daniel Mitchell, Kyle Bunn and Shane Grant.
Joan Hester and Kay Lockerby directed the wedding. Presiding at the register were Katy Bliss and Kim Mitchell.
A program of wedding music was provided by Daniell Baynes and Sidney Baynes, vocalists, and Daniel and Sidney Baynes, guitarists.
Following the ceremony, a poolside dinner and dance reception was held. Sherry Montegue served the wedding cake. Timmy and Suzanne Rhodes greeted guests.
After their wedding trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple will reside in Goldsboro.
Events held before the wedding included a shower hosted by Wayne Memorial Hospital; a bachelorette weekend in Savannah, Ga., hosted by Robbyn Linville and Susan Page; a shower at Rosewood Baptist Church hosted by Kay Lockerby, Joan Hester, Sherry Montegue, Suzanne Rhodes and Kim Mitchell; and a bachelor weekend hosted by Donnie Barnes.
The groom’s family hosted a rehearsal dinner at Torero’s.
