Erin Louise Pfau and Douglas Blake Gray exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Aug. 6 at 6 p.m. at First Pentecostal Holiness Church, with the Rev. Bill Rose officiating.

The bride is the daughter of William Jay and Kelly Blakemore Pfau of Goldsboro and the granddaughter of the late Melvin and Martha Pfau of Addison, Ill., and Charles and Judy Blakemore of McKinney, Texas.

She graduated from Eastern Wayne High School in 2005 with honors and East Carolina University College of Nursing in 2009. She is employed as a registered nurse at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

The groom is the son of Douglas Kim and Rhonda Kearney Gray of LaGrange and the grandson of the late Roland and Annie Gray of LaGrange and Ronald and Joan Kearney of Goldsboro.

He graduated from Eastern Wayne High School in 2005 and East Carolina University College of Nursing in 2009. He is employed as a registered nurse at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.

She wore an ivory gown with a sweetheart neckline embellished with beaded appliqués and ruching on the bodice. The trumpet-style gown had a dropped waistline with a chapel-length train.

Her headpiece was a sheer single-tiered elbow-length veil lined in satin.

The bride carried a hand-tied bouquet of white roses and white lilies.

Lauren Booker was matron of honor, while Heather Raczkowski and Amanda Morton were maids of honor.

Bridesmaids were Brittney McGee, Sydney Blakemore, Brooke Gray and Jessica Ficken.

Douglas Kim Gray was best man.

Groomsmen and ushers were Trey Johnson, William Pfau, Josh Bizzell, Jonathon Gray, Jeremy Newsome and Chris Davis.

Madison Hallenbeck was flower girl. Drew Kearney was ringbearer.

Brian Taylor directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Keani Anderson. Jake Bizzell and Jessica Heath distributed programs.

A program of wedding music was provided by Lisa Jones, pianist, and Heidi Watkins, Jimmy Lambert and Lisa Jones, vocalists.

Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents hosted a dinner and dance reception at Walnut Creek Country Club. Bud and JoAnne Gray greeted guests.

After their wedding trip to Antigua, West Indies, the couple will reside in LaGrange.

Events held before the wedding included a wedding shower June 4 at First Pentecostal Holiness Church in Goldsboro hosted by the couple’s families; a lingerie shower July 9 at Raintree Clubhouse in Goldsboro hosted by the bridesmaids; and a bridesmaids’ luncheon July 30 at the home of the groom’s parents hosted by Rhonda Gray.

The groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner Aug. 5 at Walnut Creek Country Club.
