Jennifer Dilla Talton and Jonathon Dwayne Carter exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Oct. 2 at 2 p.m. at Waynesborough Historical Village, with Jim Gurganus officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Jeffrey Scott and Mildred Amoroso Talton of Goldsboro and the granddaughter of Vernon Cooper and Julia Philips Talton of Goldsboro and Erlinda Batacandolo Dilla Amoroso and the late Carlos Mata Amoroso of the Philippines.

The groom is the son of Richard Wayne and Ruby Sugg Carter of Goldsboro and the grandson of Nillie Evans Carter and the late James Donald Carter of LaGrange and James Douglas and Marie Bass Sugg of Goldsboro.

The bride was escorted and given in marriage by her father.

She wore a white chiffon A-line gown with a side-draped bodice, beaded lace and a lace-up back with a sweep train.

Her headband was silver with rhinestones.

The bride carried a bouquet of white daisies and green button mums.

Joann Talton was maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Ashlie Turner, Brittany Carter, Laverne Jones and Shannon Talton.

Richard Carter was best man.

Groomsmen were Josh McCullough, Al Walker, Justin Carter and Michael Talton.

Kayla Overcash was flower girl. Kenny Wartz and Blake Stone were ringbearers.

Melanie Harper directed the wedding.

A program of wedding music was provided by a disc jockey.

After their wedding trip to Charleston, S.C., and cruise to the Bahamas, the couple will reside in LaGrange.

A rehearsal dinner was held at Woods Grove Church.
