Sparks - Duncan
Darlene Carol Duncan of Goldsboro and Wille Delbert Sparks exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony July 24 at 6 p.m. at Cornerstone Church of God in Myrtle Beach,S.C., with pastor Thomas Wallace officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Geraldine Morales of Little River, S.C., and the late Wade Andrew Duncan of Six Mile, S.C.
She is employed as a licensed agent at Rosemary Mooring State Farm Insurance Agency.
The groom is the son of Shirley Sparks and the late Willie D. Sparks of Goldsboro
He is employed as a shift sergeant with the Wayne County Sheriff Office.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.
Christina Marie Toler and Leslie Lynae Hunt were matrons of honor.
Willie Delbert Sparks Jr. and Jeffrey Scott Sparks were their father’s best men.
Ushers were Mark Allen Toler and Joshua David Hunt, sons-in-law of the bride.
Haley Marie Toler, Kaitlyn Allen Toler and Kayla Marie Sparks were flower girls. Braxton Jallen Toler was ringbearer.
A program of wedding music was provided by Haley Marie Toler, vocalist.
Following the ceremony, a dinner reception was held in the church banquet hall.
After their wedding trip to Charleston, S.C., the couple will reside in Goldsboro.
Events held before the wedding included a shower June 28 at the home of Melissa Wolfe hosted by Ms. Wolfe.
