PINE-LEVEL — Elizabeth Michelle Pearce of Goldsboro and Alan James “AJ” Heath exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony July 17 at 3 p.m. at Hinnant Family Vineyards, with Ken Jefferson officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Michael Glenn Pearce of Goldsboro and Lynne Bell Pearce of Mount Olive and the granddaughter of Leamon Lester and Annie Ruth McCullen Pearce of Goldsboro and Betty Hart Bell Renn and the late James Blaine Bell Sr. of Mount Olive.

She attended Southern Wayne High School and graduated from Wayne Community College in 2006.

The groom is the son of Rodney Kurt and Hye Un Kim Heath of Pikeville and the grandson of John Elmer Heath Jr. of Granville, N.Y., the late Patricia Jean Heath of Johnsburg, N.Y., and Cha Young Hee and the late Sub Jo Kim of Souel, Korea.

He is a 2007 graduate of Charles B Aycock High School. He is employed as a route salesman at Unifirst Corp.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.

She wore a traditional floor-length satin strapless gown with a sweetheart neckline and laced corset back, an A-line princess skirt with pickups and a chapel-length train.

The bride carried a cascading bouquet of stargazer lilies and purple roses accented with baby’s breath and greenery.

Marla Bowen was her friend’s matron of honor.

Bridesmaids were Katy Yelverton, Julie Rhodes and Heather Holmes, friends of the couple, and Anna Heath, sister-in-law of the groom.

Rodney Heath II was his brother’s best man.

Groomsmen were Joseph Pearce, brother of the bride; Adam McKane and Tan Sanders, friends of the couple, and James Bell, cousin of the bride.

Honorary groomsmen were Dante Arthur and Alex Rickard.

Rylee Johanna Heath, daughter of the groom, was flower girl. Cameron Alexander Miller and Nicholas Landon Miller, sons of the bride, were ringbearers.

Lisa S. Stanley, friend of the bride’s mother, directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Nandina Crow Lesmerises, cousin of the bride.

A program of wedding music was provided by Doug Whitley of Raleigh, DJ, and Casey Sutton and Wes Dills, vocalists.

Following the ceremony, friends and family hosted a reception at Hinnant Family Vineyards.

After their wedding trip to the mountains, the couple will reside in Grantham.

Events held before the wedding included a miscellaneous shower June 13 at Rhodes Friends Meeting in Mount Olive hosted by friends of the bride’s mother; a miscellaneous shower June 27 at Riverside Church in Princeton hosted by the bride’s family; a wine tasting July 10 at Hinnant Family Vineyards; a bridal breakfast July 16 at IHOP; and a groomsmen’s breakfast July 17 at IHOP.
