Sass - Strickland
Kathryn Elizabeth Strickland and Andrew Jonathan Sass exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony April 2 at 6:30 p.m. at Stoney Creek FWB Church, with Gary Bailey officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Ron and Hayley Kennedy Burt of Pikeville and the granddaughter of Haywood and Mary Kennedy of Goldsboro.
She graduated from Wayne Christian School in 2008, and is currently a student at Wayne Community College, pursuing a degree in early childhood education. She is employed as a receptionist at Geographic Technologies Group.
The groom is the son of Terry Allen and Symantha Adell Sass of Rosewood and the grandson of Louis J., and Doris Sass of Michigan City, Ind.
He graduated from Rosewood High School in 2009. He is employed as a merchandiser at R.A. Jeffrey’s Distributing Co.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her mother and father.
Kayla Kennedy and Curtis Kennedy video recorded and photographed the ceremony, respectively.
A program of wedding music was provided by Machelle Kingsley, pianist. The couple now resides in Pikeville.
