Howell-Raynor
Sterling Lea Raynor and Jeremy Xylon Howell of Princeton exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Feb. 6 at 2 p.m. at Spring Hill Free Will Baptist Church, with pastor Lewis Forsythe officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Linda D. Williamson, the stepdaughter of Jimmie Barb Williamson Jr. of Princeton and the granddaughter of Melba K. Dail of Goldsboro and the late E.H. “Cricket” Dail.
She is a 2008 graduate of Charles B. Aycock High School. She is employed as manager at Andy’s Cheesesteaks and Burgers.
The groom is he son of Randy and Debra Grimes Howell of Pikeville and the grandson of the late Edgar and Rosa Howell, Margaret Grimes of Pikeville and the late Lee Grimes.
He is employed as a manager at Andy’s Cheesesteaks and Burgers.
The bride was escorted by her brother, Daniel Raynor, and given in marriage by her family.
She wore a formal gown of ivory satin with a chapel-length train adorned with satin rosettes embellished with seeded pearls, sequins and embroidery at the bodice. The sleeveless gown had a scooped neck. It was fitted at the waist and pleated with a bow closure at the back waist.
Her headpiece was a chapel-length veil attached by satin rosettes.
The bride carried a clutch bouquet of mixed roses accented with baby’s breath and sprays of pearls.
Leslie Crawford of Raleigh was maid of honor.
Randy Howell was his son’s best man.
Ushers were Daniel Raynor, brother of the bride; Chase Howell, brother of the groom; and Barb Williamson, stepfather of the bride.
The bride’s mother and Pam Aycock of Pikeville, friend, directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Amanda Arkeav of Canada, cousin of the bride. Emily Peters of Pikeville, friend of the couple, distributed programs.
Ashlea Grice of Goldsboro, cousin of the bride, was acolyte.
A program of wedding music was provided by Shirley Forsythe, organist.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the church fellowship hall. Joyce Barnes, aunt of the bride, served the three-tiered wedding cake. Lois Arthur, aunt of the bride, poured punch. Cindy Aycock, aunt of the bride, cut the groom’s cake.
After their wedding trip to the coast, the couple will reside in Princeton.
The groom’s family hosted a rehearsal dinner Feb. 4 at Rosewood Church of God. The couple chose this time to present gift to their attendants.
As a testament of their faith and a pledge to their marriage, the couple was baptized Feb. 14 at Spring Hill Church by pastor Lewis Forsythe.
