Howard - Blanchard
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — Samantha Lovejoy Blanchard and Christopher Allen Howard of Virginia Beach exchanged vows July 29 at the Virginia Beach circuit court, with J.Curtis Payne officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Rose Murphy and Scott Blanchard of Gate County and the granddaughter of John and Melody Bowman of Norfolk, Va.
She graduated from Gates County High School in 2004. She is employed at Vision Center in Virginia Beach.
The groom is the son of Teri Howard of East Haven, Conn., and the grandson of Bill and Jane Howard of Goldsboro.
He graduated from East Haven High School in Connecticut. He is serving in the United States Navy stationed at Oceana Naval Air Base in Virginia Beach.
The bride wore a strapless ivory gown.
She carried a spray of white lilies and red roses.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the home of the bride.
