MOUNT OLIVE — Shelly Nicole Lee and David Eric Moose exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Sept. 5 at 2 p.m. at Mount Olive First Pentecostal Holiness Church, with the Rev. George Tucker officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Kendall Corbitt Lee and Tammy Tucker Waters of Mount Olive and the granddaughter of Jimmy C. Lee, Lousetta Coker and Janice Hart of Mount Olive and the late Durwood Tucker of Warsaw.

She is a 2003 graduate of Southern Wayne High School, a 2007 honor graduate of East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and a 2009 graduate of East Carolina University with a Master of Science degree in developmental embryology. She is employed as a pathology assistant at Brody School of Medicine in Greenville.

The groom is the son of Thomas Clyde Moose III and Martha Clontz Moose of Indian Trail and the grandson of the late Thomas Clyde Moose Jr. and Edith Moose of Charlotte and the late Shirly Gerrity of Indian Trail.

He is a 2003 graduate of Piedmont High School and a 2007 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a Bachelor of Science degree in environmental science. He is employed as an environmental scientist for Geomarine in Jacksonville.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her mother and father.

She wore a strapless ivory gown with an asymmetrical dropped waistline. The bodice was covered with lace, Swarovski crystals and ivory pearls. The front skirt was plain satin with pleating folds. The gown flowed into a semi-cathedral train ornamented with lace, Swarovski crystals and ivory pearls.

Her headpiece was a tiara ornamented with Swarovski crystals and ivory pearls and a single-tiered waist-length veil with scalloped edges ornamented with beads and Swarovski crystals.

The bride carried a round bouquet of cream Gerber daisies, ivory

roses tipped in blue and muscaria.

Jenny Hall was maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Brittany Chaaban, Rachel Gavette, Emily Hopkins and Kendall Powers of Greenville, Jamie Jones of Kinston and Elizabeth White of Goldsboro.

Thomas Clyde Moose III was best man.

Groomsmen were T.J. Baker and Riener Howard of Charlotte, Richard Ballard and Scott Sink of Wilmington, Brandon Lee and Kenny Lee of Mount Olive and Phillip Outlaw of Raleigh.

Kali Boone was flower girl. Matthew Waters was ringbearer.

Crystal Rouse directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Rhonda Williams. Nathan Hall distributed programs.

A program of wedding music was provided by Jason Cox, pianist and vocalist, and Jaime Cox and Elizabeth White, vocalists.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the church fellowship hall.

After their wedding trip to St. Lucia, the couple will reside in Kinston.

Events held before the wedding included a wedding shower June 20 in Mount Olive hosted by the bride’s family; a lingerie shower Aug. 1 in Kinston hosted by Jenny Hall; a wedding shower Aug. 8 at Hopewell Church in Indian Trail hosted by the groom’s family; and a bridal shower Aug. 16 in Mount Olive hosted by Ann and Candace Hall.

The groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner in the church fellowship hall Sept. 4.
