PINE LEVEL — Kristen Danielle Holland and Anthony Wesley Garner exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Aug. 8 at 6 p.m. at Hinnant Family Vineyard, with Vernon Braswell officiating.

The bride is the daughter of James William Holland Jr. and Cheryl Sasser Holland of Goldsboro and the granddaughter of Nora Cummings Holland and the late James William Holland Sr. of Pikeville and Rexford Bryan and Ruth Sutton Sasser of Goldsboro.

She is a 2004 graduate of Rosewood High School and a 2008 graduate of Pitt Community College with an associate degree in nursing. She is employed as a registered nurse at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

The groom is the son of Wesley Arliss Garner Jr. and Adrienne Weiser Garner of Goldsboro and the grandson of the late Wesley Arliss Garner Sr. and Dorothy Forbes Garner of Clayton and William Alfred and Helen Musmeci Weiser of Hull, Mass.

He is a 2001 graduate of Rosewood High School and a 2005 and 2007 graduate of East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science degree in business education and a master’s in business education. He is employed as an instructor at Pitt Community College.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.

She wore a charmeuse V-neck halter with a ruched surplice bodice and a beaded embroidered dropped waist. It had a godet chapel train adorned with beaded embroidered appliqués.

The bride carried a hand-tied bouquet of white lilies, lysimachi, stock, roses, stephanotis, freesia and daisies with braid stems with white sheer ribbon and white pearl pins.

Cortnie Barnes was matron of honor, while Mary Katherine Humphrey was maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Ashley McCabe, Ragan Threewitts, Diana Holland, Kerry Garner and Anna Brewer.

Welsey Garner was best man.

Groomsmen were Kurt Garner, Alexander Garner, Brandon Holland, Gentry Minshew, Justin Minshew, Rex Threewitts, Will Hester, Chris Rooney, Ryan Strickland, Rocky Barnes, Michael Fields, Austin McCabe and Travis Kornegay.

Izabella Holland was flower girl. Brayden Barnes was ringbearer.

Annette Rooney directed the wedding. Presiding at the register and distributing programs were Kourtney Humphrey and Amanda Jones.

A program of wedding music was provided by Booby Boyd, vocalist.

Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents hosted a reception at Hinnant Family Vineyard.

After their wedding trip to Topsail Island, the couple will resides in Goldsboro.

Events held before the wedding included a wedding shower at Rosewood First Baptist Church hosted by friends and family; a bridal shower at Wayne Memorial Hospital hosted by co-workers; a bachelorette pool party at the home of the bride’s parents hosted by friends and family; and a bachelor party in Cary hosted by friends and family.

A rehearsal dinner was held at the home of the groom’s parents.
