Jennifer Renee Diehl of Mount Olive and Philip Brent Price of Mount Olive exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony July 25 at 6 p.m. at Waynesborough Historical Park, with the Rev. Lamar Jackson officiating.

The bride is the daughter of the late Belinda Ann Diehl and the late Lewis O. Peele and the granddaughter of the late Robert Diehl, Severiana Diehl of Goldsboro and the late Rudolph and Ruth Peele.

She is a 2009 graduate of Wayne Community College with a degree in dental hygiene and an Associate of Applied Science. She is employed as a dental hygienist with DenTemps.

The groom is the son of Joan C. Price of Mount Olive and the late Morris Outlaw and the grandson of the late Gurney and Maggie Price.

He is a 2000 graduate of North Duplin High School and a 2001 graduate of Wayne Community College with a heating and air certification. He is employed as a heating and air service technician with Herring Heating and Air.

The bride was escorted by her uncle, John Diehl of Franklinton and given in marriage by her family.

She wore a strapless taffeta gown. The bodice was accented with pearl and crystal beading and hand-pressed satin flowers. The back had button accents and a detachable chapel-length train.

Her headpiece was a single-layered waist-length veil accented with pearl beading.

Amber Diehl of Apex was her cousin’s maid of honor.

Megan Diehl of Apex, cousin of the bride, was the bridesmaid.

David Cooke of Warsaw was his friend’s best man.

Ushers were Chris Diehl of Princeton, brother of the bride, and Mel Anderson of Mount Olive, cousin of the groom.

Melinda Buckner of Mount Olive, daughter of the bride, was the junior bridesmaid.

Lynne Diehl of Apex, aunt of the bride, directed the wedding. Dawn Anderson of Mount Olive, cousin of the groom, distributed programs.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Walnut Creek Country Club.

After their wedding trip to Topsail Island, the couple will reside in Mount Olive.

Events held before the wedding included a bridal shower June 28 hosted by the bride’s family and a wedding shower July 11 hosted by the groom’s family.
