LAGRANGE — Heather Snow Wade of LaGrange and Christopher Lee Webster of Timberlake exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony June 20 at 12:30 pm at Bethel United Methodist Church, with the Rev. James Williams officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Glenn and Tamara Howard of Snow Hill and the late Michael Wade of LaGrange, and the granddaughter of Lillian Wade and the late Vander Wade Jr. of LaGrange and the late Rev. Bobby of Pink Hill and Helen Harrell of Seven Springs.

She has a master’s degree in counseling from East Carolina University. She is employed as school counselor at Greene County Public Schools.

The groom is the son of Terry Webster of Burlington and Robert and Victoria King of Timberlake, and the grandson of Brodie and Madeline Webster of Burlington and the late Odell and Eva Davis of Leasburg.

He has a master’s degree in physical therapy from Winston-Salem State University. He is employed as a physical therapist at Wilson Medical Center.

The bride was escorted by Glenn and Tamara Howard and given in marriage by her family.

She wore an ivory gown with a sweetheart neckline and mermaid skirt. The back of the gown featured a “V” shape with a chapel length train. The bodice and train were accented with vine embroidery and crystals.

She wore a single-tiered fingertip-length veil that flowed from a crystal and pearl tiara.

She carried a hand-tied bouquet of stargazer and calla lilies.

Mrs. Ashley Brownlee, cousin of the bride, served as matron of honor, while Miss Nichole Howard, stepsister of the bride, was maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Miss Brooke Wade, cousin of the bride, Mrs. Brittany Howard, Miss Elizabeth Thompson and Mrs. Jennifer Pate.

Mr. Terry Webster, father of the groom, served as best man.

Groomsmen were Mr. Nicholas Webster, brother of the groom, Mr. Christopher Bowling, Mr. Jerry Glen Ferguson, Mr. Skyler Creech, brother of the bride, and Mr. John Harrell, uncle of the bride

Miss Emily Brownlee was miniature bride and Miss Hannah Brownlee was flower girl.

Ms. Linda Holyfield directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Miss Brittany Adams. Miss Brittany Ham and

Mr. Kevin Acree distributed programs.

A program of wedding music was provided by Mrs. Jinhee Choi, pianist, and Mr. and Mrs. Jay Ham and Mr. Jeffery Killette, vocalist.

Mrs. Terry Kornegay sang for the couple’s first dance at the reception.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Walnut Creek Country Club in Goldsboro.

After a wedding trip to Sandals Grande Ocho Rios, Jamaica, the couple now reside in LaGrange.

A rehearsal dinner was given by the groom’s parents June 19 at the Bethel United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall in LaGrange.

April 25 by Terry Webster, Linda Holyfield, and Tim and Lori Webster at the Burlington City Park; a lingerie shower was given by Brittany Howard May 15 at her home; a bridal shower was given by Tamara Howard, Nichole Howard, Ashley Brownlee, Lillian Wade, Barbara Wade and Louise Oglesby on May 16 at Bethel United Methodist Church; an “Around the House” shower was given by Victoria King, Kathy Davis, Denise Davis, Kay King and Barbara Pattishall on

May 31 at the Caldwell Community Center; a luau shower was given on June 2 by the rehabilitation department of Wilson Medical Center; a gift card shower was given on June 7 by church family at Bethel United Methodist Church; a bachelorette weekend was given by Brittany Ham on June 12-14 at Emerald Isle; and a bridesmaids luncheon was given on June 14 by Ann Ham and Janice Parks at the Royal Tea Room in Goldsboro.
