ATLANTIC BEACH — Jodie Renee Scott and Stanley Patrick Fields exchanged vows in a double-ring beach ceremony June 26 at 5 p.m., with the Rev. Renee Melby officiating.
The bride is the daughter of A.L. “Slim” and Hazel Padgett Scott of Goldsboro.
She is a 1993 graduate of Charles B. Aycock High School. She is employed with Paramount Enterprises Inc.
The groom is the son of Linda Peele Fields of Goldsboro and the grandson of Marie Potter Peele and the late Durwood “D.J.” Peele of Goldsboro.
He attended Eastern Wayne High School. He is employed with Jennings Transmissions Inc.
The bride was escorted by her daughters, Savannah and DeAnna Head.
Tonya DeRosa, sister of the groom, hosted a reception.
The couple resides in Goldsboro.
