FUQUAY VARINA — Julie Christine Whitesell of Cary and Jeffrey Michael Hall of Cary exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony May 16 at 5 p.m. at High Grove Estate, with the Rev. John White officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Bob and Bonnie Whitesell of Goldsboro and the granddaughter of the late Jacob of Roswell, Ga., Christine Whitesell of Mebane and Christine Campbell and the late Daniel Campbell of Goldsboro.

She graduated from Meredith College in 2005. She is employed as an accountant at James A. Lucas and Co.

The groom is the son of Michael and Cathy Hall of Timberlake and the grandson of the late Duvall and Marcella Noell of Durham and Peggy Hall and the late James Hall of Butner.

He graduated from North Carolina State University in 2004. He is employed as a water conservationist for the town of Cary.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.

She wore a beaded lace trumpet dress with godet inserts at the skirt’s hemline and a charmeuse sash that had a sweep train in ivory.

Her headpiece was a cathedral-length veil.

The bride carried a bouquet of mixed spring flowers.

Lauren Andraka was maid of honor.

Chris Tilley was best man.

Ushers were Mark and Matt Harrison and Joey and Jonathan Whitesell.

Gracie Whitesell was flower girl. Jacob Whitesell was ringbearer.

Ann Eberle directed the wedding. Presiding at the register were Danna Kelly, Erin Kelly and Jennifer Blizzard. Jonna Hall distributed programs.

A program of wedding music was provided by Marissa Farrell, harpist, and Susan Keel, vocalist.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at High Grove Estate.

After a wedding trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple resides in Clayton.

Events held before the wedding included a miscellaneous shower hosted by the groom’s family; a miscellaneous shower hosted by the bride’s family; an around-the-house shower hosted by friends of the bride; a miscellaneous shower hosted by co-workers of the bride; and a luncheon hosted by co-workers of the groom.

A rehearsal dinner was held at Daniels on Main Street in Fuquay-Varina.
