SNOW HILL — Jessica Lynn Myers and Brandon Ray Gray exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony May 30 at 3:30 p.m. at Free Gospel Church, with T.C. West officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Randy and Jeannie Myers of Mount Olive and the granddaughter of Margaret Myers of Mount Olive and Bobby and Eunice Overton of Grantham.

She is a 2005 graduate of North Duplin High School and attends nursing school at Wayne Community College. She is employed as a CNA at Goldsboro Medical Clinic.

The groom is the son of Rayburn Brown of Saulston and Treva Gray of LaGrange and the grandson of the late David of Saulston and Ruby Brown of Saulston and the late Raymond and Ruby Gray of LaGrange.

He is a 2002 graduate of Eastern Wayne High School and a 2008 graduate of East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and a Master of Science degree in accounting. He is employed as a certified public accountant at Kenneth E. Banks.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.

She wore an A-line white Italian satin gown with a halter-style neckline embellished with crystal beading accented with silver embroidery. The skirt flowed into a royal train decorated with matching beaded embroidery.

Her headpiece was a one-tiered veil silk illusion trimmed with crystal floral designs.

The bride carried a hand-tied bouquet of green cymbidium orchids, vogue roses and green hypercium berries. The stems were wrapped with hot pink ribbon with a braid of apple green ribbon with pearls in the middle.

Tina Kornegay of Princeton was her sister’s matron of honor.

Bridesmaids were Angie Walston of LaGrange and Crystal Gray of LaGrange and Jordan Duke of Greenville, cousins of the groom, and Christen Cherry of Mount Olive, friend of the bride.

Rayburn Brown was his son’s best man.

Groomsmen were John Gray of LaGrange, cousin of the groom; David Brown of Saulston, brother of the groom; Dan Kornegay of Princeton, brother-in-law of the bride; and Aaron Spencer of Sneads Ferry, friend of the groom.

Gracie Ginn of LaGrange, cousin of the groom, was flower girl. Daniel Kornegay of Princeton, nephew of the bride, was ringbearer.

Brenda Perry and Sandra Duke directed the wedding. Presiding at the register were Michelle Darden, sister of the groom, and Kevin Jones, friend of the groom. Rob and Noelle Woods, brother-in-law and sister of the groom, distributed programs.

A program of wedding music was provided by Jehnee Choi, pianist, and Al and Denise Laws, vocalists.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Jack’s Clubhouse in LaGrange.

After a wedding cruise to the Bahamas and Key West, Fla., the couple resides in LaGrange.

Events held before the wedding included a bridal shower March 29 at Bethel Church hosted by family and friends; a Pure Romance party April 18 at the home of Rebecca Bartik; a tool party April 18 at the home of Brad and Angie Walston hosted by family and friends; a stock-the-bar party May 9 at the home of Jimmy and Sandra Duke; a bachelor weekend May 15 through 17 in Myrtle Beach, S.C.; and a bachelorette weekend May 15 through 17 in Charleston, S.C.

Family and friends hosted a rehearsal dinner at Bethel United Methodist Church.
