CLINTON — Ginger Lynn Foss of Dudley and Johnny Andrew Hollway II of Dudley exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony May 17 at 5 p.m. at Unity Baptist Church, with Chris Schneider officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Jerry Lee of Faison and Glenda Simmons Foss of Clinton and the granddaughter of Maybell Foss Newcomb and the late Claude Foss of Mount Olive and the late Oliver Green and AdaBell Simmons of Clinton.

She is a graduate of Wayne Community College with a phlebotomist degree and a CNA certification. She is employed as a pastry chef at Southern Exposure.

The groom is the son of Johnny Andrew Holloway of Dudley and Portia Seaberry of Mount Olive and the grandson of the late John and Elizabeth Spencer of Goldsboro and Portia Smith and the late William Smith of Dudley.

He is a graduate of Southern Wayne High School and has a brick masonry certificate.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

She wore a white matte satin mock two-piece bridal gown with a scoop tank-style fitted bodice. The neckline, straps and bottom of the bodice were hand-beaded. The neckline and bodice hem were decorated with matching piping. The gown was made to look like a bodice and separate skirt, but was one-piece. The sheath skirt was enhanced with a back walking split and a detachable chapel-length train. The back zipper closure was ornamented with fabric covered-buttons. The gown was lined with finished seams. The gown was hand-beaded with white pearls, iridescent bugle beads and white and platinum seed beads.

Her headpiece was a fingertip veil adorned with rhinestones and pearls with a rhinestone tiara given to the bride by Unity Baptist Ladies Sunday school class.

DeAnna “Dena” Foss Grady-Webb was matron of honor.

Kelsi Grady, niece of the bride, was the bridesmaid.

Johnny Andrew Holloway was his son’s best man.

Maxx Grady, nephew of the bride, was the groomsman.

Gary Foss, brother of the bride, was the usher.

Nykierra Holloway, daughter of the groom, was flower girl. Allison Seaberry, nephew of the groom, was ringbearer.

Beth Aman, friend of the couple, directed the wedding. Presiding at the register and distributing programs was Shandi Grady, niece of the bride.

Special helpers were Brenda Schneider, Veronica Darden, Amy Hinson, Patty Foss and Beverley Berrouet of Raleigh.

A program of wedding music was provided by Andrea Schneider, pianist, and Amber Kelly, vocalist.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held. A three-layered wedding cake adorned with Tiffany blue ribbon and topped with an “H” cake topper was served.

The couple will take a wedding trip to Disney World in June. They reside in Dudley.

Rose Brigham, friend of the couple, hosted a rehearsal dinner.
