SNOW HILL — Jessica Rene Grant and Samuel Blake Jones exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony at 3 p.m. on May 16, at Fort Run Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church, with the Rev., Mark Thomas and the Rev. Williard Hardison officiating.

The bride is the step-daughter of Tim Best of Goldsboro and daughter of Lisa Best of Goldsboro and the granddaughter of Wilson and Brenda Sauls of Goldsboro.

She gradutated from Eastern Wayne High School and from Wayne Community College and is in her senior year at North Carolina Wesleyan College. She is employed as an advantage coordinator at Sam’s Club.

The groom is the son of Michael and Tammy Jones and the grandson of Robert and Katie Jones of Walstonburg and Bill and Pat Walston, all of Walstonburg.

He graduated from Greene Central High School and from Wayne Community College. He is employed as a correctional officer with the N.C. Department of Correction.

The bride was escorted by her grandfather, Wilson Sauls, and given in marriage by her mother, grandmother and grandfather.

Ashley Reed served as matron of honor.

Bridesmaids were Kathryn Ginn, Katlyn Jones, Abby Sauls and Savannah Sauls.

Michael Jones served as best man.

Groomsmen were Anthony Sauls, Josh Smith, Lee Heath and Kyle Carraway.

Mallory Reed was minature bride and Kaleb Hernadez was minature groom.

Skylar Boseman and Sydney Cloutier served as flower girls.

Ethan Lane was ringbearer.

Tiffany Boseman and Dede Sauls directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Dede Sauls.

A program of wedding music was provided by Janet Joyner, pianist, and Michael Smith, vocalist.

A reception followed the wedding in the Fellowship Hall at the church hosted by grandparents Wilson and Brenda Sauls.

After a wedding trip to White Lake, the couple will reside in Walstonburg.

A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom’s parents and Mr. and Mrs. Tim Dail at Fort Run Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church at 7 p.m. May 15.

Events held before the wedding included a bridal shower at the home of Anthony and Dede Sauls on April 4; a pantry shower given by the family of the groom at Free Union Free Will Baptist Church, April 26; and a Tupperware party hosted by Lisa Deaver on May 3.

The bride honored her bridesmaids May 14 at her home. At this time she presented gifts to her bridal party.
