Blalock - Canak
Gabriela Canak and Charles Robert Blalock exchanged vows in a private double-ring ceremony Feb. 22 at 6 p.m. at Tabernacle Pentecostal Holiness Church, with the Rev. Bill Sutton officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Nadia Linic and the late Vladimir Canak of Galveston, Texas, and the granddaughter of the late Eugen and Nadia Linic of Croatia.
The groom is the son of Charles Andrew Blalock and the late Mary Evans Blalock of Goldsboro and the grandson of the late Charles Raymond and Esther Parker Blalock and the late James and Shirley Sutton Evans.
James Raymond Blalock was his brother’s best man.
Peyton Andrew Blalock, nephew of the groom, was ringbearer.
The bride wore a formal-length champagne spaghetti strap gown.
She carried a bouquet of lilies with streamers.
Following the ceremony, a cake cutting was held in the church fellowship hall.
A formal reception will be held at a later date.
The couple resides in Goldsboro.
