Jennifer Ann Cole Lyon of Goldsboro and Donald Larry Jenkins Jr. exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Sept. 27 at 2 p.m. at Rosewood First Baptist Church, with Pastor Kelvin Gurley officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Michelle Kay Gregson of Sacramento, Calif., and the granddaughter of Dori Lockwood of Sparks, Nevada and the late William Lockwood of Lompoc, Calif.

She graduated from Clovis High School in California and Wayne Community College with an associate degree in arts. She is employed as an instructional assistant at Rosewood Elementary School.

The groom is the son of Donald Larry Jenkins and Connie Kirby Hare of Goldsboro, the stepson of Charlotte Jenkins and Jimmy Hare, the grandson of Myrtle Jenkins and the late Archie Jenkins of Columbia , S.C., and Ruth Kornegay and the late Jack Kornegay of Goldsboro and the stepgrandson of Hansford Ricks of Goldsboro.

He graduated from Rosewood High School and Mount Olive College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in business management. He is employed as a store manager at CARQUEST.

The bride was escorted by her son, Logan Cole, and given in marriage by her family.

She wore a sheath-styled white chiffon gown. The bodice featured a V-neckline with embellishments of seed pearls and crystals.

Teri Camp was matron of honor.

Cheree Rothe was the bridesmaid.

Don Jenkins was best man.

Groomsmen were Logan Cole, Jason Jenkins and Alan Jenkins.

Kaylee Lyon and Matti Rose Lyon were junior bridesmaids.

Kayla Rothe was flower girl. Jackson Lyon was ringbearer.

Michele Weeks directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Josie Camp. Taylor Rothe distributed programs.

A program of wedding music was provided by Pastor Kelvin Gurley and Jason Jenkins, vocalists.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Rosewood First Baptist Church.

The couple reside in Goldsboro.

Events held before the wedding included a bridal shower at Oakland Community Church hosted by Teri Camp.

The couple hosted a rehearsal dinner at the church.
