Nichole English and Allen Turbeville exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Oct. 25 at 7 p.m. at Lane Tree Country Club, with Pastor Danny Johnson officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Theresa J. Chiero of Goldsboro and Joseph English of Massachusetts.
She graduated from Charles B. Aycock High School in 1999. She is employed at Hair Expressions.
The groom is the son of Tammy Parmer of Seven Springs.
He is owner of A&T Towing and Recovery.
The bride was escorted by her mother.
She wore a formal gown of white satin and lace with cap sleeves and an A-line skirt. The apron front enhanced the lace and beading detail at the gathered waist. The corset lace-up back flowed into a semi-cathedral train.
Her headpiece was a veil of silk illusion with scalloped beading edging.
The bride carried a bouquet of calla lilies, gardenias and stephanotis.
Vanessa Rivenbark was her friend’s matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Taylor Rivenbark and Courtney Herring, friends of the bride.
Tim Christy was his friend’s best man.
Groomsmen were Tim Smith and Dale Herring, friends of the groom.
Taylor Young, cousin of the bride, was the junior bridesmaid.
Taylor Turbeville, stepdaughter of the bride, was flower girl. Joshua Jones, nephew of the groom, was ringbearer.
Vanessa Rivenbark and Elizabeth Schaufner directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Mary Nichols, friend of the bride.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Lane Tree Country Club.
After a wedding cruise to the Bahamas, the couple reside in Goldsboro.
Events held before the wedding included a words-of-wisdom shower Oct. 23 hosted by Vanessa Rivenbark; a bachelor party Oct. 118 hosted by Tim Smith; a man shower Oct. 12 hosted by Tim Smith and Tim Christy; and a bridal shower Sept. 21 hosted by Vanessa Rivenbark and Mary Nichols.
The bride’s mother hosted a rehearsal dinner Oct. 24 at Lane Tree Country Club.
