Hodge - Thigpen
Amanda Sue Thigpen of Goldsboro and Timothy James Hodge of Goldsboro exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Sept. 27 at 3:30 p.m. at the Wayne County courthouse.
The bride is the daughter of Stacy Aldine Thigpen Jr. of Mount Olive and Donna Sue Thigpen of Goldsboro and the granddaughter of the late Stacy Aldine Thigpen Sr., Elizabeth Thigpen, Don Colmore and Edith Colmore of Goldsboro.
She graduated from Charles B. Aycock High School in 2005 and Wayne Community College in 2008 with an associate degree in arts. She is pursuing a career as a radiographer.
The groom is the son of George Hodge of Nashville, Tenn., and Patricia Smith of Las Vegas, Nev., the stepson of Mike Smith and the grandson of Hope Hodge and the late George Hodge of Plover, Wisc.
He graduated from Spring Creek in 2003. He is serving in the Air Force.
The couple will take a wedding trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C.
