Jennifer Gail Hinnant and Joshua Davis Boatright of Greenville, S.C., exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Aug. 2 at 2 p.m. at Grace Baptist Church, with the Rev. James Frasher officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Jim and Brenda Hinnant of Goldsboro and the granddaughter of Burnice Hinnant, the late Rev. J. Carlie Hinnant and Edward and Jessie Parnell of Goldsboro.

She is a 2003 graduate of Wayne Christian School and a 2008 graduate of Bob Jones University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in counseling.

The groom is the son of Christi Boatright of Greenville, S.C., and the late Jadie Boatright and the grandson of Gladys England of Rincon, Ga., the late Rex England and the late Jadie and Joann Boatright.

He is a 2001 graduate of Bob Jones Academy and a 2008 graduate of Bob Jones University with a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing management. He is employed at Dataworks Plus in Greenville.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.

She wore a white formal matte satin split front A-line gown with a fitted halter-style bodice. The empire waist was accented with a red sash tied in the back with a bow cascading down the chapel-length train.

Her headpiece was a rhinestone tiara with a two-tiered veil of silk illusion fashioned with a red cord along the edge.

The bride carried a bouquet of red roses accented with white stephanotis and pearls.

Cheryl Hinnant was her sister-in-law’s matron of honor.

Bridesmaids were Bess Reeder, Anna Benton and Stacie McCary, friends of the bride.

Brad Hinnant was his brother’s best man.

Groomsmen were John Mark Harris, Randy Robbins, Nathan Eubank and Craig Hayward, friends of the groom.

Emily Moix, friend of the bride, was flower girl. Michael Longwell, cousin of the bride, was ringbearer.

Martha Frasher directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Marcie Kingsley. Sarah Sawyer distributed programs. Gift table attendant was Natalie Thibeaux.

A program of wedding music was provided by Machelle Kingsley, pianist, and Casey Rose and Curtis Piner, vocalists.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the church.

After a wedding trip to Williamsburg, Va., the couple reside in Greenville.

Events held before the wedding included a lingerie shower hosted by Cheryl Hinnant, Keren Gunter and Stacie McCary; a bridal shower hosted by co-workers at Wayne Christian Day Care; and a bridal shower at Grace Baptist Church hosted by Cheryl Hinnant, Keren Gunter and Anna Benton.

The groom’s mother hosted a rehearsal dinner at Grace Baptist Church.
