CAROLINA BEACH — Bambie Lee Hoskin of Seven Springs and David Lynn Sholar Jr. of Seven Springs exchanged vows in a double-ring beach ceremony June 7 at 6 p.m., with the Rev. Darin Ezzell officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Jesse William and Sandra Roberts Hoskin of Dudley and the granddaughter of Dixie Hayes and the late William Franklin Hoskin of Keener and the late Dewey Crawford and Katie Moore Roberts of Dudley.

She graduated from Wayne Community College.

The groom is the son of David Lynn Sholar Sr. of Pin Hook and Jeri Ann Ezzell of Wallace, the grandson of Richard and Nancy Sholar of Pin Hook and the late Jerry Wayne Ezzell of Beulaville and the great-grandson of Roxie Sholar of Wallace.

He graduated from East Duplin High School. He is employed as an operator mechanic at Mt Olive Pickle Co.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.

She wore an ivory chiffon gown with a pleated bust, an empire waist and tie back. It had a sweep train.

Her headpiece was a tiara.

Jessica Hoskin was her sister-in-law’s maid of honor.

Samantha Page, cousin of the bride, was the bridesmaid.

David Sholar Sr. was his son’s best man.

Jeffrey Gaylor, friend of the groom, was the groomsman.

Callista Holmes, daughter of the bride, was flower girl. Dakota Newsome, son of the bride, was ringbearer.

Jessica Hoskin directed the wedding.

Special helpers were Wanda Ginn, Cece Thorton, Kathy Davis, Judy Jackson and Kristie Page.

A program of wedding music was provided by Don Jenkins.

A reception will be held at a later date.

After a wedding trip to Carolina Beach, the couple reside in Seven Springs.

A house shower will be held later.

Events held before the wedding included a bachelorette party hosted by Jessica Hoskin; a bachelor party hosted by J.W. Hoskin and Jesse Hoskin; and a lingerie shower hosted by Jessica Hoskin and Sandra Hoskin.

Don and Jeri Ezzell, mother and stepfather of the groom, held a rehearsal dinner June 6 in Carolina Beach.
