NORTH TOPSAIL BEACH — Hannah Leigh Wilson and Anthony Alan Cape exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony June 7 at 1 p.m. at The Bella Luna, with the Rev. Thomas H. Smith officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Wendell Gregg and Lisa Montague Wilson of Goldsboro and the granddaughter of Franklin Wendell and Lula Mahaley Wilson of Wilmington and Lela Faye Montague and the late James Donald Montague of Goldsboro.

She is a North Carolina Scholar, an honor graduate of Charles B. Aycock High School and a graduate of Wayne Community College’s dental assisting program.

The groom is the son of Denise Marie Cape of Goldsboro and the grandson of the late Scotty Thomas and Frances Vida Pierce of Campobello, S.C.

He is a graduate of Eastern Wayne High School and attended East Carolina University for a medical career. He is serving in the Air Force.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.

She wore a white satin A-line halter gown with a sweetheart cut and a chapel train. The dress had a split front with beaded lace with Swarovski crystal and pearl accents. She also wore a ring given to her by her paternal grandmother and she carried a poem given to her by her maternal grandmother and a handkerchief, which belonged to her late grandfather.

Her headpiece was a tiara of Swarovski crystals and pearls with a veil accented with Swarovski crystals and pearls.

The bride carried a bouquet of white and yellow lilies, white and yellow Gerber daisies and white orchids with Swarovski crystal accents.

Caroline Jones was her friend’s maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Lindzy McDonald, Christina Setliff and Amber West, friends of the bride.

Joshua Wilson, brother of the bride, was best man.

Groomsmen were David Brown, friend of the groom, and Devlin Pierce, uncle of the groom.

Nancy Sauls directed the wedding.

A program of wedding music was provided by Jeffery Boberg, uncle of the bride, vocalist, and Wesley Thornton, family friend of the bride, acoustic guitarist.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Villa Capriani Resort in North Topsail Beach. A two-tiered wedding cake accented with handpainted chocolate sea shells was served.

After a wedding cruise to Nassau, Bahamas, the couple reside in Goldsboro.

Events held before the wedding included a shower May 18 at Eureka Methodist Church hosted by Brenda Yelverton and Sherry Montague, aunts of the bride, and Yvonne Sauls and Nancy Sauls, great-aunts of the bride, and a bridal luncheon May 10 at Pupetta’s Italian Restaurant hosted by the bride’s mother.

The groom’s mother; Lula Wilson, grandmother of the bride; and Kristen Boberg, aunt of the bride; hosted a rehearsal dinner June 6 in Wilmington.
