Alisha Ann Marie Hardy and Christopher Stephen Gregory exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony March 22 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints culture hall, with Bishop Richard Brown officiating.
The bride is the daughter of William Franklin and Patty Hardy of Dade City, Fla., and Eudine Hardy of Tampa, Fla.
She is employed in the trucking industry.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Larry Gregory of Mount Olive.
He is employed in the trucking industry.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.
She wore a formal gown of white satin with a square neckline accented with short cap sleeves. The fitted bodice was embellished with silver bugle beads and layered lace. The A-line skirt cascaded into a semi-cathedral train beaded at the hemline.
The bride carried a bouquet of red and yellow roses on lace entwined with a pearl necklace from her grandmother.
Eudine Hardy was her daughter’s matron of honor.
Joseph Larry Gregory was his son’s best man.
Russell Hardy, brother of the bride, was the usher.
Samantha Hardy and Gaby Hardy, nieces of the bride, were flower girls.
A program of wedding music was provided by Teena Mccullean, aunt of the groom, pianist, and Sarah Mccullean, cousin of the groom, and Willie Forney, friend of the bride, vocalists.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held.
After a wedding trip to Atlantic Beach, the couple reside in Dudley.
Events held before the wedding included a shower Feb. 14 hosted by the groom’s mother and Janice Douvall, grandmother of the groom; and a get-acquainted supper Jan. 24 at Pizza Village of Mount Olive hosted by the couple’s mothers.
The groom’s mother and Carol Gregory, aunt of the groom, held a rehearsal dinner March 21. The couple chose this time to present gifts to their attendants.
