Cheney - Fogle
Leigh Anna Fogle of Pikeville and Jeremy Michael Cheney of Pikeville exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Aug. 11 at noon at Herman Park, with the Rev. David Fiskman officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Brenda Powell of Goldsboro and the late Yarnell Fogle of Frederick, Md., and the granddaughter of Robert and Gloria Fogle of Frederick and Barabra Walter and the late Robert Walter of Goldsboro.
She attended Southern Wayne High School. She is employed as an office assistant at Thompson Pump and Manufacturing Co.
The groom is the son of Rickey and Martha Cheney of LaGrange and the grandson of the late Carlton and Beatrice Cheney of Swanton, Vt., and the late Emile and Marion Trombley of Winooski, Vt.
He attended Spring Creek High School and Eastern Wayne High School. He is employed as assistant manager at Food Lion.
The bride was escorted by Brandon Fogle and given in marriage by her family.
Samantha Haverty was maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Cindy Cheney, Amber Cheney and Jacqualin Santos.
Christopher Cheney was best man.
Groomsmen were V. Hadzijahic, James Nichols and Kyle Powell.
Ushers were Joshua Oliver, Thomas Oliver and Michael Cheney.
Matthew Cheney was ringbearer.
Presiding at the register were Jenny-lynn Tobey and Brittany Tobey.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Steak Barn.
After a wedding trip to Wilmington, the couple reside in Pikeville.
Events held before the wedding included a wedding shower Aug. 8 and a bridal shower July 16.
A rehearsal dinner was held at Madison’s Prime Rib.
