ROCKY MOUNT — Carrie Rebecca Cotton and Bobby Ray Tyndall Jr. exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony June 30 at 4 p.m. at Lakeside Baptist Church, with the Rev. Gaylord Lehman officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Wayne L. and Brenda B. Cotton of Rocky Mount.

The groom is the son of Edna W. Tyndall and the late Bobby Ray Tyndall Sr. of Goldsboro.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.

Catherine C. Jordan of Rocky Mount was her sister’s matron of honor.

Bridesmaids were Jackie Farmer of Rocky Mount, Jessica Nelson of Elm City and Sharon Bannon of Goldsboro.

Jared L. Cargill of Apex was his friend’s best man.

Groomsmen were Dwight Hudson and Ronnie Carter of Goldsboro and Dale Jordan of Rocky Mount.

Chrislyn Moss of Elm City was flower girl. Dalton Jordan of Rocky Mount was ringbearer.

Presiding at the register were Kimberly Carter and Taylor Tyndall of Goldsboro.

Kristi Bryant of New Bern read a poem written by the bride.

A program of wedding music was provided by Artie Davis of Newton Grove, vocalist, and Lawrence Goering of Rocky Mount, organist.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Lakeside Baptist Church.

Events held before the wedding included a wedding shower May 19 at Lakeside Baptist Church.
