LAGRANGE — Tammy White of Goldsboro and Ennis Allen Sykes Jr. of Goldsboro exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony May 19 at 5 p.m. at St. Luke Free Will Baptist Church, with Dr. Stanley Williams officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Mary Truitt of LaGrange and the granddaughter of Minnie White and the late Nelson White of LaGrange.

She graduated from North Lenoir High School in 1998. She is employed as a pharmacy tech at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

The groom is the son of Ennis Allen Sykes Sr. and Anita Sykes of LaGrange and the grandson of Sarah Sykes and the late Enis Sykes of LaGrange and the late Walter Mclaughlin Sr. and Alice Mclaughlin of Goldston.

He graduated from Goldsboro High School in 1995. He is employed as an HVAC mechanic at Lee Mechanical.

The bride was escorted by her brother, Shon White, and given in marriage by her mother.

She wore an ivory satin strapless platinum gown with embroidery and Swarovski crystal beading on the bodice and hem

Her headpiece was a silver tiara with clear rhinestones with a fingertip veil.

The bride carried a bundle of red roses.

Krista Williams was matron of honor, while Ennicia Sykes was maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Shanta Black, Regina Johnson and Angela Jones.

Tyrone Morgan was best man.

Groomsmen were Bobby Tann, Craig Perry, Temele Williams and Kevin Kittrell.

Ushers were Joshua Harrell and Christopher Harrell.

Enyah Williams was the junior bridesmaid.

Ajalaye Sykes, daughter of the couple, was flower girl. Maalik White was ringbearer.

Yolanda Herring directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Ariana White. Audriana White distributed programs.

Pamela Yelverton was a special helper.

A program of wedding music was provided by Dujuane Gardner, pianist, and Derek Lucas and Cherlynn McRae White, vocalists.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Frink Alumni Friends and Family Cultural Center.

After a wedding cruise to the Bahamas, St. Maarten, St. Thomas and St. John, the couple reside in Goldsboro.

Events held before the wedding included a Jack and Jill shower May 5 and a lingerie and bachelorette shower April 21.

A rehearsal dinner was held at the home of the bride’s mother.
