Baker-Harris

Sunnie Gabrielle Harris and Justin Craig Baker of Goldsboro exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony March 1 at 10:45 a.m. at the Magistrate Office, with W.B. Buchanan officiating.

The bride is the daughter of John Timothy and Patsy Rae Stone Harris of Goldsboro and the granddaughter of Merle Swanson of Goldsboro, the late Floyd Jethro Harris and William Lewis and June Kyles of Eden.

She graduated from Rosewood High School. She received a Teaching Fellows scholarship and obtained a teaching internship at Rosewood Elementary.

The groom is the son of Desmus Baker of Jeffersonville, Ind., and Colleen Eulo of Norfolk, Va., and the grandson of Wanda of Clarksville, Ind., the late Desmus Baker and Hayden Couch and Margorie Couch of Carolton, Ky.

He graduated from Jeffersonville High School in Indiana and has a bachelor’s degree in computer science.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.

Jennifer Paige Barrow was maid of honor.

John Matthew Reese was best man.

Amanda Peacock and Chanda Robinson helped with wedding preparations.

The couple reside in Goldsboro.

Events held before the wedding included a lingerie shower Feb. 23 hosted by Jennifer Barrow.
