Hall-Kennedy
WILMINGTON — Sara Elizabeth Kennedy and Ryan Stuart Hall exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Dec. 2 at 11 a.m. at Scotts Hill Baptist Church, with Tom Jaski officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Mark Kennedy Jr. and Kathleen Kennedy of LaGrange and the granddaughter of Lucille Kennedy, the late Mark Kennedy Sr. and Joe and Dorothy Masters of LaGrange.
She graduated from Lee University. She is employed as teacher at Life Academy.
The groom is the son of Randy Hall of Wilmington and Debra Hall of Wilmington and the grandson of the late Jesse and Dorothy Hall of Wilmington and Jim and Erika Miller of Rocky Point.
He graduated summa cum laude from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and attends graduate school at South Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is employed as an habilitation tech at Maxim Health Care Services.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
She wore a white chiffon A-line gown with side drapings and a beaded metallic embroidered lace hem with a chapel-length train.
Her headpiece was a fingertip veil attached to a tiara.
The bride carried a bouquet of red roses, black bacardi roses, coffee berries and seeded eucalyptus.
Melissa Perkins Capps was matron of honor, while Kimberly Grayson was maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Christian Kennedy, Danielle Kennedy and Leann Pickard.
Tyler Hall was best man.
Groomsmen were Trent McCumbee, John-Mark Kennedy, Joseph Kennedy and Bruce Padgett.
Grace Anna Kennedy was flower girl. Braedon Kennedy was ringbearer.
Dana Swinson directed the wedding. Presiding at the register were Al and Angie Kennedy. Lenwood and Katie Mills distributed programs.
A program of wedding music was provided by Donnie White, pianist and Melissa Bonin, Marie Yaddow and Donnie White, vocalists.
Following the ceremony, a dance reception was held at Landfall Country Club.
After a wedding trip to Charleston, S.C., and Hawaii, the couple reside in Wilmington.
Events held before the wedding included a miscellaneous shower hosted by Debra Hall and Gloria Harmon; a lingerie shower hosted by Melissa Perkins Capps; a miscellaneous shower hosted by Trent and Anjie McCumbee; a miscellaneous shower hosted by Kathy Clayton; and a Christmas ornament shower hosted by Danielle Kennedy and Kathie Kennedy.
A rehearsal dinner was held at Scotts Hill Baptist Church.
