Keefe - Strickland
DUDLEY — Holly Nicole Strickland of Mount Olive and Patrick Joseph Keefe Jr. of Mount Olive exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Nov. 11 at 3 p.m. at Emmaus Baptist Church, with Johnny Sasser officiating.
The bride is the daughter of James Dale Strickland of Spring Hope and Pamela Edwards Wilkes of New Bern and the granddaughter of Juanita Strickland, the late James Strickland, Ella Jean Edwards and the late Dalma Edwards of Spring Hope.
She attended Southern Nash Senior High School and graduated from Wayne Community College. She is employed as a nurse at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The groom is the son of Corliss Sowers and the late Patrick Joseph Keefe of Dudley and the grandson of the late Elizabeth Keefe of Kinston and Jim and Susan Cunningham of Goldsboro.
He attended Southern Wayne High School and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. He is employed as a teacher at North Duplin High School.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.
Lindsey Holloman was maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Amber Kirby, Dorian Creech and Talia Strong.
John Mark Hill was best man.
Groomsmen were Matthew Wiggins, Daniel Strickland and Wayne Holley.
Ushers were Mark Reece and Ryan Price.
Ashlyn Williams was flower girl. John Williams was ringbearer.
Nancy Dickins and Anne Bass directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Mallory Bass. Sara Bass distributed programs.
A program of wedding music was provided by Patsy Morgan, pianist; Lindsey Reece, vocalist; and Paige Barwick, violinist.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Walnut Creek Country Club.
After a wedding trip to Montego Bay, Jamaica, the couple reside in Mount Olive.
Events held before the wedding included a shower at the Royal Tea Room of Selma hosted by Lindsey Holloman; a shower at Free Union Free Will Baptist Church fellowship hall of Spring Hope hosted by friends and family of the bride; a shower at the home of Corliss Keefe of Dudley hosted by friends and family of the groom; a shower hosted by the 6th floor at Wayne Memorial Hospital; and a bachelorette weekend in New Bern.
A rehearsal dinner was held at Emmaus Baptist Church fellowship hall.
