SPIRIT MOUNTAIN, Minn. — Emeri Nicole Keppeler and Andrew James Rohweder exchanged vows in a ceremony Aug. 19 in an Hawaiian-style ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Robert and Cherri Sterling of Pikeville and Erick Keppeler, the granddaughter of Mike Sr. and Deloris Brandt of Green Cove Springs, Fla., and the stepgranddaughter of Carol Sterling of Montgomery, Ala.

She is a 2001 graduate of Proctor High School in Minnesota. She is serving in the Air National Guard as a staff sergeant stationed in Duluth, Minn., and is employed at Perkins Restaurant and as a model for various photographers and companies in Minnesota.

The groom is the son of Daniel and Linda Rohweder of Proctor.

He graduated from Proctor High School. He is serving in the Air National Guard as a flightline crew chief stationed in Duluth.

The bride wore a formal floor-length gown with a fitted bodice of satin and a lace-up back. The full princess tulle skirt was embellished with rhinestones and glitter.

She carried white and pink hibiscus highlighted with silver and crystal sprays.

Cherri Sterling served as her daughter’s matron of honor, while Chardai Keppeler, sister of the bride, was maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Katie Keppeler, sister-in-law of the bride, and Jess Lindwall and Laura Dean, friends of the bride.

Staff Sgt. Caleb Keppeler, brother of the bride, was best man.

Groomsmen were Staff Sgt. Jacob Keppeler, brother of the bride; Michael, Matthew and Jonathan Rohweder, brothers of the groom; and Frank Talarico, friend of the groom.

Maisy Rohweder, niece of the groom, and Kiaya Lindwall were flower girls.

Daniel Rohweder, father of the groom, was the reader.

Chad and Brandon Keppeler of Orlando, Fla., distributed programs.

Following the ceremony, a dinner and dance reception was held inside Spirit Mountain’s ski chalet.

The groom’s parents held a rehearsal dinner at Rustic Inn of Superior, Wisc.
