Spivey - Phipps
Halye Elizabeth Phipps of Mount Olive and Jeremy Daniel Spivey of Kenly exchanged vows in a single-ring ceremony July 22 at 5 p.m. at Now Faith Church, with Pastor Jeff Toler officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Wiley Chris Phipps of Goldsboro and the late Annette K. Hull of Mount Olive.
She is a graduate of Southern Wayne High School and attends Wayne Community College’s dental hygiene program.
The groom is the son of John Daniel of Kenly and Sharon Elizabeth Spivey of Kenly and the grandson of Bonnie Spivey and the late Anderson Spivey of Kenly.
He attended North Johnston High School. He is employed as an electrical mechanic at T&H Electric.
The bride wore a simple white dress with sequins and pearls.
Her headpiece was a veil with white pearls. She carried a yellow rose.
After a wedding trip to Grand Cayman Islands and Jamaica, the couple reside in Mount Olive.
