Mrs. Lane

Tracy Carol Grimes of Mount Olive and Anthony Wayne Lane of Mount Olive exchanged vows in a private ceremony July 4 at noon at their home, officiated by Pastor Christian Powell.

The bride is the daughter of Jerry and Judy Grimes of Goldsboro and the granddaughter of the late William and Iona Blackman and the late Melvin and Veda Grimes of Coats.

She is a 1990 graduate of Southern Wayne High School and attended Wayne Community College. She is employed as an advertising sales representative with the Mount Olive Tribune.

The groom is the son of Annie R. Lane of Dudley and the late Anthony Ganes Lane and the grandson of the late William and Mable Smith of Pikeville and the late Jule and Edna Lane of Mount Olive.

He graduated from Southern Wayne High School in 1990 and James Sprunt Community College in 1991 with a certificate in electrical engineering. He is employed with Lane Vending Co.

The bride was given in marriage by her sons, Tommy and Drake Thompson.

Melynda Snead of Goldsboro served as her friend’s maid of honor.

Kaleb Lane served as his father’s best man.

A reception was held July 8 at the home of the couple in Mount Olive.
