Angela Renee Jones of Pikeville became the wife of Patrick Joseph Rosso of Pikeville April 22 at 3 p.m.

Pastor Bill Rose officiated at the double-ring ceremony at First Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Parents of the bride are Johnny Steven and Angela Hartley Jones of Dudley. She is the granddaughter of Nevada Gale Hartley and the late Carl Lindon Hartley of Dudley and Shirley Marie Jones and Ralph Exum Jones of Goldsboro.

James and Roseann Mosier of Mountain City, Tenn., are parents of the groom. He is the grandson of the late Rose Andolina, the late Russell Andolina and Margaret Mosier and the late James Mosier of Mountain City.

Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a sleeveless gown of white luster satin with red embroidery across the top of the bodice trimmed in pearls and crystal beading. Silver sequins adorned the bodice. A red lace-up corset back opened up into a red semi-cathedral-length train.

For her headpiece, she chose a crystal tiara.

Stephanie Jones, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jazlyn DuVall, cousin of the bride, and Tina Roberts, friend of the couple.

Jamie Roberts was his friend’s best man. Ushers were Joshua DuVall and Jordan DuVall, cousins of the bride. Groomsmen were James Mosier, father of the groom, and Brad Eastridge, friend of the groom.

Carsyn Jones, niece of the bride, and Sydnei Rosso, daughter of the groom, were flower girls.

Jill DuVall, aunt of the bride, directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Jamelyn DuVall, cousin of the bride. Amber Cook cousin of the bride, distributed programs.

The couple is residing in Pikeville.

The bride is a 1998 graduate of Southern Wayne High School. She attended Wayne Community College’s surgical technician program. She is employed as a child care provider with Mount Olive Kiddie Kollege.

The groom graduated from Johnson County High School in 1998 in Tennessee. He is serving in the Air Force.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the American Legion of Dudley.

On April 8, a bachelor and bachelorette party was held at the home of Jamie and Tina Roberts, friends of the couple.

The bride’s mother, Jill DuVall and Mitzi Griffith, aunts of the bride, and Gale Hartley, grandmother of the bride, held a tool party March 11 at Brogden Church.

On Feb. 25, Stephanie Jones, sister of the bride, and LaWana Gurganus, friend of the bride, held a bridal shower at Brogden Church.

Family and friends held a rehearsal dinner at the American Legion of Dudley.
