Davis - Snyder
KEY BISCAYNE, Fla. — Amanda Jo Snyder of Cherokee, Iowa, and Dennis Scott Davis pledged their wedding vows Dec. 28 at 5 p.m. in a double-ring ceremony at Cranden Park Beach.
Parents of the bride are Michael and Rhonda Snyder of Marcus, Iowa.
Parents of the groom are Donald and Linda Davis of Goldsboro. He is the grandson of the late Ashley Joyner and the late Lucy Joyner of Goldsboro, Agnes Green of Elm City and the late Noah Davis of Micro and the step-grandson of Jimmie Green and Nina Davis.
After a wedding trip to Orlando, Fla., the couple is residing in Nashville, Tenn.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of the University of Northern Iowa with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. She is employed as an educator.
The groom graduated from Charles B. Aycock High School in 1997 and Duke University in 2001 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. He attends Vanderbilt University for a doctorate in educational research.
The couple will hold a reception March 11 in Cherokee.
