Mr. and Mrs. Dingle

Michelle B. Garner and Roy A. Dingle exchanged vows Nov. 19 at 4 p.m.

The Rev. Joseph Williams officiated at the double-ring ceremony at Greater Guiding Star Inc.

The bride is the daughter of Faye Garner of Mount Olive and Jerry Artis of Goldsboro. She is the granddaughter of Bertha Garner of Mount Olive.

The groom is the son of Marynell Dingle of Goldsboro and Roy Wheeler of Rochester, N.Y. He is the grandson of Nellie Dingle-Williams and the late Mary Alice Wheeler of Rochester.

Given in marriage by her mother and escorted by her father, the bride wore a formal gown of silk with an off-the-shoulder neckline enhanced with long tapered sleeves that ended in calla points. The fitted bodice was embellished with re-embroidered Alencon lace, pearls and sequins that ended in a Basque waistline. The back bodice was closed and accented with a candy box bow at the waist and cascaded into a semi-cathedral train.

She carried silk candlelight ivory roses.

Kim Coley of Goldsboro was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Laheisha Hardy, Tiffany Price and Tasheema Stepp of Goldsboro, friends of the couple.

Kasheem Myles of Goldsboro was best man. Christopher Simms of Goldsboro was the usher. Groomsmen were Lesean Dingle and William Stringer of Goldsboro, brothers of the groom, and Thomas Whitehorn of Goldsboro, friend of the couple.

Tyhanna Dingle, daughter of the couple, was flower girl. Deonte’ Dingle, son of the couple, was ring bearer.

Angela Williams-Martin, friend of the couple, was special event helper.

A program of wedding music was provided by Byron Coley of Goldsboro; Kenneth Campbell of Kinston; and Sharon Bizzell of Mount Olive, Jessica Cox of Goldsboro, Johnatan Flangan of Kinston and Almentta Pickett of Dudley, vocalists.
