Williamson - Lopez
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Veronica Lopez of Alamogordo, N.M., and Christopher Jon Williamson of Goldsboro said their marriage vows Oct. 1 in an 11 a.m. double-ring ceremony at Loose Park.
Parents of the bride are San Juan and Adela Lopez of Harlingen, Texas. She is the granddaughter of the late Alejandro and Adela Duran and Paulina Lopez of Harlingen.
The groom is the son of Janet Kempcke of Colorado Springs, Colo., and John Steven Williamson of Ottawa, Kan. He is the stepson of Neil Kempcke and the grandson of the late Margaret Jacobson, John Jacobson and Doris White of Overland Park, Kan., and the late John Williamson of Kansas City.
Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a red and white A-line gown.
For her headpiece, she chose a white veil with red trim. She carried a bouquet of roses.
Anisa Hernandez was maid of honor.
Tim Linder was best man.
Ericka Lopez was flower girl. Ben Jacobson was ring bearer.
The couple will take a wedding trip to Las Vegas, Nev.
The bride is employed as a military dental technician.
The groom is employed as a military utilities systems technician.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Ritz Charles.
Angie Clauder held a shower.
A rehearsal dinner was held at Herford House.
