Marlana Ann Best became the bride of Steven Jason Smith Feb. 12 at 4 p.m.
The Rev. George F. Strickland officiated at the double-ring ceremony at Brock’s Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church.
The bride is the daughter of Kimberly Hargrove and David Best of Mount Olive. She is the granddaughter of Marlene Moody, Elwood Best and the late Connie Best of Mount Olive and Margaret Newsome and the late Billy Ray Newsome of Goldsboro.
The groom is the son of Reuben and Diane Smith of Mount Olive. He is the grandson of the late Jack and Viola Smith, Ruby Strickland and the late Bennie Strickland of Mount Olive.
After a wedding trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C., the couple is residing in Mount Olive.
